How To Get to PUERTO GALERA
Puerto Galera is just 3 to 4 hours away from Metro Manila. To get here, one needs to ride a vehicle to Batangas and then take a short ferry boat ride to Puerto Galera.
The short distance means cheap transportation cost and more fun time on the numerous tourist spots.
There are 4 ways to go to Puerto Galera.
Puerto Galera is three hours away from Metro Manila. If you’re already in Manila, getting there is pretty easy. Having a car is very convenient, all you need to do is drive through South Luzon Expressway turn right to Star Toll gate and then head to Batangas Pier. From there, you can either park your car and ride a boat going to SABANG or have your car ride a RoRo(roll on, roll off) ship bound to Puerto Galera so you could take your car with you to Sabang, Puerto Galera.
Go to any of the following bus terminals in Metro Manila:
- Bus Terminals near the corner of Taft Avenue and Gil Puyat Avenue (formerly Buendia), Pasay City – nearest the Airport.
- Bus Terminal near Ali Mall, Araneta Center, Cubao, Quezon City.
- Bus Terminal in EDSA corner Kamias Street, Quezon City.
- Bus Terminal in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
Ride the air-conditioned bus going straight to Batangas pier via CALABARZON Expressway. Travel time to Batangas pier will take more or less 2 hours.
Upon arrival in Batangas pier, go to Terminal 3 and find the ticket booth of the ferry going to SABANG. At Batangas Pier, passengers are required to pay the Terminal Fee and the Environmental User Fee for tourists going to SABANG per person.

The Most Convenient Way to go to SABANG is by private transportation.
A new air-conditioned Van will collect you from your hotel or Manila airport; drive through the shortest route to Batangas Port if you are taking the public boat, or to Berberabe Beach where the private boat is waiting to bring you to SABANG.

seaplanes, which will take you from Manila (MLA) to Puerto Galera (PG) in 30 minutes and vice versa. Seaplane dock is located at the back of Folk Arts Theatre, CCP Complex, Roxas Boulevard, Manila.
